As a MUM, you just want to know what your toddler needs, wants, and feels.
You’re frustrated that you can’t understand them—and stuck on how to help them copy & say new words.
And the hardest part? Seeing other toddlers chatting away while you’re still waiting for yours to say just one word.
One that fits into your day as a busy mum, right alongside bath time, play and the everyday magic you already share.
When you’ve tried it all—singing, toys, treats – your child understands everything…but your toddler still won’t copy you, and you’re left wondering if you’re doing something wrong.
When all the advice sounds the same—read more books, play more —but no one’s actually showing how to do it with real kids in real life.
When the activities you find are too structured…and your toddler just isn’t interested in doing a “speech task” or pretend-play at the table.
When 1:1 therapy feels like too much…but doing it alone leaves you discouraged and defeated—instead of feeling capable as a mum.
When your toddler won’t sit still for 10 seconds, and you need proven strategies that work anywhere, anytime—without a toy shelf or elaborate DIY in sight.
When all the advice is just theory…and you just want something that fits into everyday moments like bath, snack, or a quick game on the lounge room floor.
I’ve Been on Both Sides
Hi, I’m Saffira—paediatric speech pathologist, mum, and founder of The Online Speechie.
I’ve spent over 14 years helping late talkers—and now that I’m a mum, I understand the overwhelm on a whole new level.
When I needed help with sleep or feeding, I didn’t want ten blogs or fifty opinions—I just wanted one trusted source to walk me through what to do. Step-by-step. No second guessing, no stress.
That’s exactly what I wanted to create for parents of late talkers.
I started life as a failure to thrive as a baby in an orphanage—until one woman changed everything.
Now I’m a mum and a paediatric speechie, and I know how powerful early support can be.
That’s why I created this program—to give you the tools to change your child’s story too.
What I’ve Seen Again and Again
I’ve met so many parents who are doing all the “right” things—books, songs, playtime—but still feel stuck.
They tell me:
“They understand everything, but they won’t say any words.”
“I’ve tried all the things… why won’t they copy me?”
“Everything online is so vague and generic and my kid just isn’t interested—I never know what to actually do.”
In the clinic, I saw what worked:
Simple strategies. Real-life routines. Clear & achievable goals.
And do you know what’s crazy?
So many parents come to me focused on what their child isn’t saying. But once I show them how to spot the early signs of communication—like reaching, sounds, and almost-words—everything changes. They realise their child is already trying to talk. With the right strategies, they’re able to respond, build on those moments, and teach new words in a way that finally clicks for their little ones. The pressure eases, the progress picks up, and the words start coming—because they’re built on what their child already wants to say.
I created Ready, Set…Talk!™️ so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. It’s based on the exact skills I’ve taught families in therapy for over a decade—now made simple, flexible, and accessible in your own time, on your own terms.

A week-by-week plan made for late talkers—no prep, no guesswork, just what actually works.

Just 10 minutes a day of simple practice—because supporting your toddler shouldn’t feel overwhelming.
The best time to help your child is now—and the best person to do it is you, the one they spend the most time with.

What parents are saying:
Before the LT Programme, I used to be a mum who read a lot of books, but I wasn’t practicing the sounds and breaking down the words into more achievable sounds for my son, and that’s been the thing that has made the biggest difference.
Vanessa G – mum of Isaac, 16 months
You do have time, you just have to allow yourself to give your time. Honestly I reckon it was 15 to 20 minutes. You can split it up where you can.
Claudia A – mum of Beau, 21 months
I have loved the videos that Saffira shares, and how I can tailor it to Henry’s interests and abilities. It has helped me to be more confident teaching Henry speaking skills in everyday situations.
It was absolutely worth the investment! Aside from helping my boy find his voice, having all these tools took the stress out of it by giving me a plan. It was also much cheaper than in-person therapy!
Rebekah – Mum of two

Ready, Set…Talk!™️ gives you the exact tools and strategies I use in therapy—so you can either avoid the need for therapy altogether, or make every single session count if your child does need extra support.
I’m Saffira.
1 in 5 toddlers are late to talk—that’s five kids in every kindy class. And while half of them may catch up by age 4 or 5, many still go on to struggle with things like storytelling, reading, and writing.
I don’t want that to be your child.
After 15 years as a paediatric speech pathologist, I went into motherhood without the stress of wondering, Am I doing enough? Because I had the tools, I felt capable. Confident. I knew how to turn everyday moments into powerful learning opportunities—and that’s exactly what I want for you.
Inside Ready, Set…Talk!™️, I’ll show you how to do the same: simple, proven strategies that fit into real life, so you can stop second-guessing and start feeling like your child’s best teacher.
You are the kind of parent/mum I had in mind when creating the Ready, Set...Talk!™ if:
You’ve tried everything to get your toddler talking—books, toys, mirror time, DIY activities, even copying tips from social media—and you’re still not seeing progress. You’re starting to feel discouraged and wondering if you just need a professional who has the magic touch (and knows how to get your child’s attention and motivation).
You want to be hands-on and believe learning starts at home, but you’re too busy and too tired to sift through hours of content that’s hard to apply. You need strategies that slot into your day—quick things that actually work during playtime, mealtimes, or when your child is whining and you’re out of ideas.
You’re the type who takes action, who wants to learn the “why” and the “how” so you can do it yourself—not just hand it over to a therapist. You’ve downloaded all the guides, done the checklists, sought help with sleep, feeding, and milestones—but now you just want someone to show you how to support your child’s talking in a way that is evidence-based, feels doable and clear, with support along the way.
You know that early support matters. You’re not here to wait and see—you want to give your child the best shot at communicating confidently, and you’d rather act now than wish you had done something sooner.
You’re feeling the mental load: the guilt of comparing your child to their siblings or kids the same age, especially if they’re the second or third child. You worry you haven’t spent enough time with them, and all that comparison pressure has you constantly wondering if you’re doing enough.
You’ve looked into professional help but felt overwhelmed by the time, cost, or waiting lists. You just want someone to show you exactly what to do—step-by-step—with tools you can access anytime, at your own pace, and with guidance that adapts as your child grows.
Determined parents need practical tools—
BECAUSE PEACE OF MIND IS…
KNOWING YOU’RE DOING THE RIGHT THINGS TO HELP YOUR CHILD TALK.
Join the Ready, Set…Talk!™️ All Access to learn the exact strategies I use as a paediatric speechie (and mum!) to turn everyday routines into powerful moments for learning new words—without pressure, overwhelm, or endless activities.
I founded the Online Speechie to give parents simple, practical tools to help their child talk—without the waitlists.
I’ve worked across homes, clinics, and the public system, but it’s the everyday moments with parents that matter most.
Becoming a mum to Lyra deepened my passion—because I know firsthand how early support changes lives.
Labeled “failure to thrive” as a baby in an orphanage, I began to thrive once someone noticed I needed help. I was adopted at two.
That moment changed my life. Now, I’m here to help you change your child’s.

FAQ's
1) Will this work for my toddler?
If your child is under three and thriving in every other area except words, yes — this is exactly who this program is for.
These strategies work. I see it every day.
Of course every child is different, and progress looks slightly different for each family — but that’s why I give you a 30-day money back guarantee. You can go inside, try it properly, and see progress for yourself.
And you’re not alone — you have the bonus one-on-one support call and the live Q&As to help you along the way.
2) How much time per day is needed to see progress?
Ten minutes. That’s it! Most of the videos inside are five to ten minutes. I don’t want you stuck watching me on a screen. I want you spending time with your child in everyday moments.
This is designed for time-poor parents. It’s practical. It’s doable. And it fits into the life you already have.
3) What if my child is seeing a speech therapist too?
Perfect. This program complements therapy beautifully.
Often therapists don’t have the time to deeply train parents in how to generalise strategies at home. Ready, Set, Talk helps you become that “speechie parent”, so you’re confident implementing home practice and building language every day.
It makes therapy more effective, not redundant.
4) Will this help children who are autistic?
Yes, but it won’t be the only thing you need.
For late talkers without additional needs, this may be all you need to see significant progress.
For autistic children, Ready, Set, Talk builds those fundamental communication foundations; attention, interaction, gesture, early learning skills. That’s essential.
But you will likely also need ongoing therapy support alongside this.
Think of Ready, Set, Talk as the strong foundation, especially while you’re waiting for services.
5) What if I am more concerned with speech clarity, is RST right for this?
Great question. For most late talkers, vocabulary comes first. Remember that communication is about sending meaningful messages to others, and clarity is usually the last layer.
You need words before you refine how those words sound (usually from 3yrs old at the earliest).
Ready, Set, Talk builds the language first. And yes, we are releasing a dedicated Speech Clarity Program soon, so you’ll have that next step when the time is right.
