Speech Therapy and Assessments for Young Children & Families in Perth

Collaborative Therapy

We partner with you to set meaningful, functional goals that matter to your family and actively involve you in every step of your child’s therapy, ensuring skills are built for everyday success.

Engaged Learning

Combining video feedback & hands-on demonstrations, we guide you through your child’s learning, offering practical strategies to reinforce therapy at home without overwhelming your schedule.

Success Celebration

Our aim is to celebrate the day your child no longer needs us, focusing on giving your child the tools to succeed quickly & starting therapy when it’s most beneficial and at the right pace.

We specialise in

Late talkers

For toddlers who aren’t yet using many words or phrases. We support first words through parent strategies and daily routines.

Language

How children understand others & express themselves. We support vocabulary, sentences & comprehension through play & structured tasks.

Speech clarity

Speech is how clearly children say sounds and words. We support clarity by building speech sounds, and addressing oral motor and feeding issues.

Stuttering

When a child repeats sounds, words, phrases or gets stuck speaking. We use positive reinforcement through the play-based Lidcombe Program.

Looks at how your child interacts socially. We offer joint-same day autism assessments with a speech pathologist & clinical psychologist for all ages.

Support access assessments

We provide assessments for NDIS, school support, and education placements—helping identify your child’s needs and access the right service.

What parents are saying

The process

1

Get started by filling out our referral form. We’ll usually schedule a free 15-minute phone chat to see if we’re the right fit and possibly book your first appointment.

2

Initial appointment/assessment

We’ll play with your child to build a connection and get to know them. We’ll observe their skills through play and formal assessments to identify areas of need. We’ll also talk with you to gather more about your child’s strengths and challenges.

3

Assessment summary & recommendations

We’ll provide a summary with key findings, any applicable diagnoses and a plan—usually a few weeks after. We will discuss therapy options that fit your family’s schedule.

4

One-one-one therapy sessions

Parents and children usually attend together so we can teach techniques to use at home. Sometimes we’ll run parent-only sessions for personalised training—especially for the littlies! Sessions may be play, routine-based, or structured.

5

Provision of home programs

If suitable, we may offer a home program with check-ins (e.g. monthly, bi-monthly, termly), instead of weekly therapy, tailored to your child’s needs and your family’s routine.
